SKIING AND SNOWBOARDING Powder snow, an elusive substance I knew I was hooked on from an early age. My first sporting addiction began with a winter season in '87 in Tignes, France. I always knew I would never get enough, but I always thought no other sport would come close to it. That perfect day, you know the one I mean, could there be a better one, the endless search, the infinite possibilities - its kept skiing and snowboarding alive. The lure of capturing that perfect turn on film, the jaw dropping air, with a creamy evening light highlighting soft rippled snow. My dream of a career in photography began right here. SNOW KITING Snow Kiting is a relatively new sport, embracing the power kite revolution driven by companies such as Ozone, marrying it with skiing, snowboarding, telemarking, ice skating, whatever floats your boat. What fuels my dreams is kite skiing up steep untracked mountains and freeriding down. Its green heli skiing, a three dimensional, zero gravity, adrenaline rush. Enter gallery. |

PARAGLDING AND HANG GLIDING Mans oldest dream is to fly. Leonardo da Vinci had it cracked (see photos if you dont believe it) long before the Wright brothers. We have discovered the secrets of thermalling and soaring flight, we have the freedom to cruise the skies and touch the clouds, circling up to the heavens like birds. Paragliders and hang gliders are incredible aircraft, I just dont understand why everybody doesnt fly one? Enter gallery. |
